Map Page
The Map Page allows location and other data to be viewed on a variety of different maps. Different mapping types may be selected including:
• Google Premium Maps 2016
• Google Earth Satellite Maps
• Mapnik
• Mapquest
• Opencycle
Google Maps serves as SicuroTrack’s default mapping interface, which is fully integrated to display the most up-to-date information for roads, landmarks and various points of interest. To facilitate uninterrupted usage in low bandwidth areas, however, clients may choose form up to 6 different mapping options of varying complexity.
To change the map, select the drop down map list and select the appropriate mapping choice.
The map has three panes. The left hand pane corresponds to information, the right hand pane for tools and the bottom pane for journeys.
To get a full view of the map page, minimize all three panes by clicking on their respective icons.
Left Pane - Information
Consists of Schedules, Devices, Events(Only when Schedules-Journey is activated),POIs, Areas, Overlays and HeatMaps.
Right Pane - Tools
Consists of Center, Tools, Grid, Directions, Options and Info.
Bottom Pane - Journeys
Provides summary of journey information such as routes taken, fuel consumed, ave. speed, distance travelled, etc. This is only applicable when querying for historical journey of a device/s under Schedules-Journey tab.
