A Person is an individual who is added on to the platform and who can be associated with a Device.

Common Person types include:

Device user

An individual who is tracked by a specific Device

Driver

An individual driving a vehicle being tracked by a specific Device

Responsible person

An individual who is in charge of a Device for management or operational purposes

Managers

Individuals who will receive alerts generated by a Device or group of Devices.

To create and amend a Person, select the management tab, select people – list and then amend the required Person as necessary.

It is important to provide as much information as possible on each Person, particularly if they will be receiving Alerts.

Valid email and GSM numbers must be provided if a Person wishes to receive real time Alerts from SicuroTrack.

The format for phone numbers should be country code (with no “+” or “00”) followed by the number with no spaces. For example: 97143635392.

When a Person is associated with a Device all reports from that Device will be associated with that Person.

If a change is made in a Person associated with a Device, this change will not take effect on SicuroTrack until the Device next sends a valid position report to SicuroTrack.
